Located on Tawas Point between Lake Huron and Tawas Bay, Jerry’s Marina has an interesting history that spans more than 60 years.

Initially, Clyde E. Coller opened Jerry’s Fishing Resort on Tawas Point with the idea to attract fishermen that were after Tawas Bay’s famous Perch.

But there never was a Jerry in the Coller family. It was all about name recognition since Coller sneakily “borrowed” the “Jerry” from another, completely different establishment - Jerry’s Unrecorded Plat.

The name stuck and today it’s a full service marina with 200 boat slips, complete repair service department, parts & accessories, and new & used boat and motor sales. Other services available at Jerry’s are a Convenience store (Lake to Bay Groceries) and fully renovated cottages sleeping 4-14 Timber Lane Resort. For larger vessels, they do have slips available for boats 18-37ft in length but there's is an advisory to reserve these early during, or rather before the season starts.
