East Tawas City Park


Located on US-23 adjacent to the Iosco County Historical Museum and East Tawas City Park Campground, East Tawas City Park is the area’s premier public shoreline destination.

The 1600-foot beach provides weary beachgoers with ample space to enjoy a relaxing day in the sun. Volleyball nets, horseshoe pits, biking pathways and playground equipment promises enjoyment and recreation for the whole family.

Grilling and picnic facilities abound on the park grounds as wells as a large gazebo and shaded areas for those wishing to escape the heat.

The campground offers 174 spacious lots with year round Cable TV, available on a first-come-first-serve basis. Rates vary between $18 and $27.50 per day depending on the time of year you wish to visit.

Storage for your camper or RV is available from October - May at $40 per month or $18 per day when in use.

Cold weather enthusiasts use the camping area as base of operations during winter for their ice fishing and cross country skiing trips well as partaking in festivities like Perchville USA - an annual festival held in February complete with chili cook-offs, ice fishing contests, Polar Bear Swim and beer tent.

East Tawas City Park is a fun, year-round recreation destination and with its ideal location, visitors can enjoy an escape from the mundane while being close city amenities and comforts.
