Adjacent to Town Square Park, sits Tawas City Park. The main feature of this park is a 450 foot long pier, equipped with lights and benches for evening usage.
A concession stand that usually opens around June and closes back down during October, serves visitors hot dogs, hamburgers, cold soda and other snacks while they enjoy the sights and sound of the park.
The park also hosts numerous Arts and Crafts Shows throughout the summer as well as being the site for the annual 4th of July Fireworks Show.
With Volley Ball nets, playground equipment, gazebos, concrete animals and picnic facilities, Tawas City Park is the perfect location to spend a lazy day at the beach.
